Dude, design doesn't come easy? This is great. Lovely and simple. i like minimalist site anyway. It's good that you haven't overdone it and just added what's important. It's easily readable, easy to navigate and crisp. Also there is plenty of content which is just as important. I'm the opposite to you. Nice effort and the more you produce the better you will become so keep busy If you're not already doing it start looking at design sites like smashing magazine and webdesignerdepot for inspiration and web design developments. I too think the header is a little too big with not alot in it so could do with being reduced but i really like the concept. Very quirky and abstract.
