Hello a quick introduction to myself and what I do, my name is Brad Houston, I'm 23 and have 6 years experience in web and graphic design. I am currently employed full time running the small web design department at a very popular graphic design agency. The agency have just stepped into web design and are looking to expand. I am seeking a web developer or a couple of developers for freelance work and an on-going relationship with a chance of employment in the long-term. I have a client that wants a calculator like this http://www.solarlex.co.uk/solar-panel-payback-calculator what would it cost me to get one of these made? what is the maximum I should pay?

If its a brochure website and you have no programming knowledge I would use Pagelime, Its great and easy to implement! just add "cms-editable" to the html within the class= and its then editable within the CMS! its great! check it out. Page Lime Best regards, Brad

I would start by finding a website that you like and then copy it, I can almost guarantee it wont look the same when finished, but the colors and patterns will be there to fill it out. Good web design today consists of subtle textures and don't make colors clash! theres a great program called Adobe Kuler (http://kuler.adobe.com/) which can help you with colors. Good luck with it!

SOLVED! I had to define a 100% width on the wrap for IE to center it. In the mean time I got id validating! Thanks for your help. Brad

My site looks great in all browsers apart from IE! Ive used the sticky footer and 960 Grid system but for some reason the footer is fine but everything before wont center! www.trevorpeters.co.uk/trevor-peters-display Can you guys help me resolve this issue? Hello WDF! I'm new here and looking for potentially some support. I have recently closed a deal with a well established Graphic Design agency in my city, They have been established for over 22 years! they specialize in graphic design but there roots are airbrushing etc... (with a physical airbrush). but putting that to one side they own 60+ websites! but all are designed in tables etc... and a few in CSS, but their designer is retiring in 2 weeks and I'm taking over! I'm pretty good at CSS/HTML/Photoshop and all the current trends! but as I will be pretty much running the web design department on my own can I come here for support? The business are very busy and are looking at growing the web design department from just me to a team! I will have general questions with CSS/HTML andI will also be looking to hire PHP developers etc... Kind regards, Brad
