  1. Anything less than 100,000 is considered to be good on Alexa.
  2. I recommend staying away from all-Flash sites and instead including Flash as smaller elements inside your HTML design. that keeps it easily indexed by any search engine. Text is always the tried-and-true method of getting on the engines. Better to not hope that Flash gets picked up.....
  3. I read in an SEO article that a redirect through Alexa helps to increase your Alexa rating. Considering many ad companies use the Alexa rating to determine if your site has enough traffic to be on their network, anyway to increase your Alexa rating will increase your chances of getting on better ad networks which equates to more revenue. Does anyone know if the redirect does work to increase your Alexa rating for those users that don't have the toolbar loaded? Below is an example... http://redirect.alexa.com/redirect?www.drinkwithjim.com Any ideas would be appreciated......
  4. Wow, that's very plain. Are you working on a re-work?
  5. I like the grey logo better than the orange. It works better with the dark type.

HTML is code that does basic text and images. PHP is the code that "talks" to the database... It intermixes with HTML code. I really recommend getting "PHP Fast & Easy" at a Borders or Barnes & Noble and doing the exercises in it. That will get you well on your way!
