Red Dead Redemption
I'm getting this. There's a multiplayer mode where it's last man standing vs a bear with a bowie knife. You get to hunt all sorts of animals and use a lasso (so i've heard). At any rate it sounds like a laugh to take the mind of cod.

I thought the intro flash banner blur on the index was dodgy in that the initial image (sustainability?) blurs out and the transition jarred in my vision. It needs to go a lot faster (max 2 seconds) and smoother. I didn't want to look at it after that, which is a problem if you're advertising the main products of the company via that element. Personally, I avoid using flash altogether and opt for JQuery; it's somewhat more accessible and just looks better. Your shortcuts_panel is unfortunately styled like a google ad. As a person who spends a lot of time avoiding looking at these evils, I can say you will find people won't use it for this reason. Text size modifiers are redundant with modern browsers' ctrl+/ctrl- functions and your site scales reasonably well. Your corporate team mugshots, whilst amusing, are amusing for the wrong reason. I had to double-take at the first one because the intro blurb didn't prepare me for the sight of a photoshop-pinched face. I'd recommend you use the originals, or visitors will either be led to think that the company is having a laugh, or is actually staffed by a group of deformed monsters. As for the cost of development, you charge an hourly rate don't you? Work out how long it took to make and do the maths.

CSS Troubles?
@ http://www.ladymotor.co.uk/news/wp-content/themes/Awes/css/screen.css input.text, input.title, textarea, select {margin:0.5em 0;border:1px solid #bbb;} ^ try reducing the margin or changing it to a specific px. I can't really see any other rule affecting padding/margins in the css atm, so apologies if that doesn't make a difference. It would help to have a comparison with a 'normal' site.

Hello people!
I'm a developer/designer working for the NHS, and I love my job. Signed up this morning because I do this job on my own and I want to improve on the habit of doing new things the hard way - without discussion. I think it would be good to get advice and see how other people work on approaching design and development. Anyways thanks and see you around!
