    To be honest, I wasn't even going to put all the stuff I actually created on there (lots of it had confidential content) I just want to be able to say 'I have worked with X, Y and Z'

    My contract does say that any work I do belongs to my employer etc etc, but the point in my portfolio is obviously 'look what work I have done/am capable of' which is still true as I actually did the work?

    I've worked for a couple of medium sized companies meaning I have completed work for some pretty big name clients. Can I list these clients in my own portfolio when I go freelance, or are they not technically mine because they were the clients of the company I was working for?
