No free tool gives you the full picture of the back links footprint. You'll be limited in the total number of back links or forced to run the list through different services to determine follow/nofollow, PR, Alexa etc.

I consider a lot of good SEO techniques that work for me and I can't really say that there's any one particular Seo strategy that has been beneficial..but still if I would have to pick however, I will say that I would agree with .. using keywords in the title tag. Seems simple, but so many sites don't do it.

Hi Everyone, I've been a visitor of this forum for quite some time now. I remember when there wasn't much to this site but a few beginner tutorials. I always came back because of the simple and intuitive layout of the tutorials. Thank you for that. I've been working with php and html on and off for 5+ years now. I've written everything from a full blown Half-Life server tracking system to simple 1 page scripts. I've also got experience creating plugins for Drupal and Wordpress. Anyways, thanks for the great website and community and I hope that I can help provide feedback and support for others trying to learn. See you around!

I can nearly bet that the most answer will be that seo-guru uses no software and do everything by hands )) Absolute best 2 tools out there are: 1) The Human Brain 2) Experience The Best tool for SEO comes not in a software, it is not promoted in any website, it's not available on Google and you cannot access it on any forum. The best tool for SEO is the SEO person itself. No matter which SEO tool you would be using, it is still the person who will decide on which will be the best approach for the site. It is still the person who makes a site successful or the one who makes it crash..

Don't worry about the time or the number, just start building links and try to get as much as possible down the road..... And also remember, It might not always be like jumping to PR1 after the zero volume, because by continuing having a site which is well promoted through good backlinks and from realted sites, you can expect to jump to PR2 or PR3 in the next Google update
