    The staff may like it, have you asked the parents and children? I worked on a company intranet a while back and the ceo and the marketing director both had very different ideas about the design and one design would not keep them both happy. As a resolution I developed two skins and the user could choose which stylesheet they wanted to use on the site. Both very different designs and both people were happy, just a thought anyway.
