I have noticed some poor grammar on your services page.
 
 
I would re-write this to -
'A quality web design needs to successfully transmit the values and ideas that your brand stands for, and to provoke the desire to do business into your visitors.
We have this covered.'
( The 'We have this covered' is probably superfluous. )
 
 
'We are proud to be creating functional and attractive web sites that have unique vision, and our ability to be coding them to the latest web standards.'
 
 
'We will optimize your web sites performance and the online services that you offer.'
 
 

 
'Social marketing on Facebook will present you with the opportunity to promote your products and services in a way that will encourage brand recognition and validation in potential customers. When done right this type of marketing can seriously drive your sales up.'

I'd say all you need is one really good project to show your experience. I freelanced for years in illustration and then web-design before dropping my day-job. I do sub-contract work for and with an agency but I've never looked for a proper job. I was going to look for one but the freelancing pays pretty well when you do it full-time and the nice thing is you get to choose your own clients and write your own rules.
 
That said it isn't for everyone. It does take some discipline and you end up working all the time.

I couldn't comment on getting a job, as I haven't ever applied for one.
But maybe you can try freelancing? There is plenty of work and the best thing about it is that you can work your own hours in your own location (home, pub, etc ) and pick your clients.

It's illegal
 
Just buy a Mac, or use an alternative free *nix system. Macs are not overpriced any more than your average Dell.
