Hey Folks, Just a quick post to say hello to you all. This looks like a great forum for web designers, and I'm glad I found it. My background is actually in the entertainment industry as a performer, but due to the onset of ill health about three years ago I found myself having to create alternative work and income. My hobby is computing, internet and writing code, so web design seemed like a logical choice for a career move. Although I have received no formal training, I take great pains to ensure that my sites conform to W3C standards. Everything I know about building sites I've learned from books, tutorials and forums! Forums are great! I'm currently moving away from building static sites to producing custom themes for Wordpress. As long as I can learn something new from every project, I'm a happy camper. I hope to be able to contribute some useful input to the forum as time goes by. Best wishes, Myles
