  1. Thanks for all the responses. I am starting with Joomla, and as a backup have Adobe Fireworks installed too. I found some good free templates for testing. Later on will buy some good templates to work wtih Joomla. I cannot totally depend on html at this stage as it will take me too much time to grasp te knowledge of it. but i believe the basic requirements needed, i will learn as they arise. YOUTUBE a very good resource for learning everything. Then you guyz are here for the specific expert questions.
  2. I dont have any clue about html/CSS languages, as am a total noob in the field till 2 weeks ago, i didnt even know what webhosting means. But i browsed around the Joomla tutorial and installed it as well with ease and it looks a bit okay to me, i mean if i give it 2,3 hours a day, i think i would be done in a week, (under my opinion) but thats why wanted to know that can i create a complete website with it or not? or should i be spending time learning something else? your MODXCMS website was not working since yesterday so no idea what it is
  3. Hi, I am totally new in webdesigning field, and saw that Joomla is a pretty easy to learn system in terms of web development. What i want to know is that is Joomla the right way to start learning to develop websites? I have a few friends who want to make just normal info websites about their company, which i believe i can create buying templates and by going through Joomla help manual. Or is there anything better than this. THe other systems of HTML and CSS look quite complicated to me and their learning curve is time consuming as compared to Joomla (at least in my opinion) Just for information, i would be doing this as a hobby and not as core business.
