How do i submit form and do thank you page
http://www.elitetradesmen.com/searchtrades1.html Well my site is almost finally finished. Its taken me a few weeks of constant work (i know you guys could have knocked it together in an hour or so) but for my first attempt i'm fairly pleased plus i've learnt alot. I appreciate all the help i've had on here. I have a final couple of questions. 1. I need to set all my forms up with a 'thank you for submitting the form' page. Whats the easiest way? 2. How do i actually set up my forms to send. I just want the user to click submit, he gets a thank you page and the form is sent to my email. If you can explaining it in relevence to my link at the top it would be great, i've had a lot of replies saying here's the code you need. Generally i've had no idea where to put it or what it relates to, my fault i know but like i said i'm new to all this.

Forms and layout questions
www.elitetradesmen.com Two more questions for you. I'm guessing the first one is pretty simple where as the second might not be. 1. On my home page the 2 pics nearer the bottom of the page won't centre in the image boxes. If you look closely there is a larger gap at the bottom between the pic and the outline than round the rest of the image. Whatever i seem to do i can't make this gap smaller. I have several forms on my site, not yet worked out how to submit them but thats not my question, yet! What i want to do is put a check box at the end of the form which has to be checked to say the person completing the form agrees with all terms and conditions etc. Unless the box has been checked then the form shouldn't be submitted and i guess something should pop up saying it can't be submitted till they've agreed to terms etc. Is this as complicated as i think its going to to. Bearing in mind it took me hours to work out how to make tabs change colour so they were relevent to the page i was on. Cheers in advance for any advice and help you might be able to give

Just plain html as far as i know. I've changed the code to this: css. #nav a { background-image:url(images/menu.gif); width:90px; height:19px; display:inline; float:left; font-family: Verdana; font-size: 10px; text-align:center; padding-top:6px; text-decoration:none; color:#e9e4d0; font-weight:bolder; } #nav selected { background-image:url(images/menu2.gif); width:90px; height:19px; display:inline; float:left; font-family: Verdana; font-size: 12px; text-align:center; padding-top:6px; text-decoration:none; color:#e9e4d0; font-weight:bolder; } html <div id="wrapper"> <h1>Elite tradesmen</h1> <div id="nav"> <a href="index.html">Home</a> <a href="quotes.html">Submit Quote</a> <a href="registration.html" class="selected">Registration</a> <a href="policies.html">Our Policies</a> <a href="contact1.html">Contact Us</a> </div>

Changing tabs
Still trying to work out how to make my tabs stand out when i'm on a certain page. Here is the code i've come up with but i've clearly done something wrong as it doesn't work. css. #nav a { background-image:url(images/menu.gif); width:90px; height:19px; display:inline; float:left; font-family: Verdana; font-size: 10px; text-align:center; padding-top:6px; text-decoration:none; color:#e9e4d0; font-weight:bolder; } #nav a.current { background-image:url(images/menu2.gif); color:#918A70; } #nav a.current:hover { color:#918A70; } html. <div id="wrapper"> <h1>Elite tradesmen</h1> <div id="nav"> <a href="index.html">Home</a> <a href="quotes.html">Submit Quote</a> <a class="menu2" href="registration.html">Registration</a> <a href="policies.html">Our Policies</a> <a href="contact1.html">Contact Us</a> </div>

How do i change tab colour
www.elitetradesmen.com Above is a link to my site, in respects of design i think its pretty much done. The one thing i'm struggling with is that i want the tabs at the top which show the links to pages to change colour depending on what page your on. So lets say i'm on the area page the area tab at the top will be a dark grey the same as the page and all other tabs will be a lighter colour. One problem i see though is that not all my pages have a tab at the top. How do i get round this as when i'm on when of these pages i'm not sure what to do with the tabs.

How do i get web pages to fill form feild
I understood that till you said to change the page to PHP? I'm sorry, this is my first attempt at a web site so its all new to me. If there is an easy way to change to php, i will do a search later but i never seem to be able to find anything which explains it well enough for me to understand at the moment.
