I am looking to move my domain to a new hosting account, which I have already signed up. I have one email account and currently access through IMAP and have a lot of emails on the server which I want to keep. Can someone please help me with the best way to transfer a website and the email account the the new host fairly easily and without losing anything? The control panel of my current host has no backup option. Any help would be most appreciated.

Thanks for that. I'm a bit stumped on how to transfer my site from the old host to the new one. I've done a complete backup in Cpanel, but I'm not sure how to transfer it to my new host, keeping the email accounts and databases etc. I've read that you need to login to the WHM or something, but I don't seem to have these options on my Cpanel. Any help would be appreciated, I'm stuck!

I have a hosting account which I host a couple of websites on, and I have my domain names registered with 123reg. My dad setup a website for the local church, purchasing the domain and hosting from the same company. As I am going to be maintaining this site, I would like to transfer it all to my host, domain and content. Do I need to do the domain and content separately?

I want to buy a domain name off someone that is already registered for my personal portfolio, and it isn't being used at the moment. I found out the owner and emailed him to see if he wanted to sell it. He said he had no idea how much it's worth but make him an offer if I wish. As it's only for personal use, I don't want to spend silly money for a domain name, no more than £20 really, it's just a name after all. My questions are, does that seem a bit cheap of me and also if the guy accepted an offer from me, what is the best way to go forward? How do you actually get ownership of an already registered domain?

Hi folks. I have a static site I have designed through Dreamweaver using HTML & CSS. It consists of around 5 pages. I want to add another link which is going to be a blog. What would be the best way to do this and what should I use? I've briefly looked at Wordpress and b2evolution which are good, but they seem like completely separate entities to a main site. I would be happy using Wordpress, but how do I integrate it with my current site layout and have just a blog on this one particular page?
