Yeah thanks for all the tips guys. Just didn't know whether I should turn up with the laptop to do some quick photoshop mockups but that's probably a bit too much, pen and paper it is. Any advice about payment? I know it's usually a 50/50 before and after split so do I wait until the design is final and then invoice them for the deposit or do I take a deposit on the day?

I'm meeting on their premises because I work from home. So it's not too unprofessional to turn up with a notepad and pen to take notes?

Hi I've been lurking these forums for a while now without posting but now I need some advice. I have a meeting with a client to discuss ideas and budget for her new website. I've already sent her some examples of work along with a price that they seemed to like, hence the meeting. I'm new to the business side of all of this and have never met a client face to face before. This will also be my first proper paying client who is not a friend/family member. What should I expect, what do I need to bring etc, etc? Thanks in advance.
