  1. I Didnt, i moved the business on due to the circumstances at the time. Unfortunatly, landed in the hands of somone who claimed to have the knowledge to run a hosting business.... but failed. Andy
  2. Ill give my little input about the design you like (the one you posted) I dont really like the idea of a full flash website. Its not good for SEO and dont like the idea of having to load a new flash file everytime you click on one of the links. Although, the site design i like, and can be achived without the flash, obviuously without the animation (but there doesnt seem alot on there). Anyway just somthing to take into consideration. And prices vary alot. But theres plenty of sites advertised on here for you to look threw! Andy
  3. How old is your domain and your website? and whats the back link quantity? If its only 15 days old, both site and website then i wouldnt be expcting anything to happen to fast. Andy
  4. Could it be that Google didnt like the 2 domains to 1 website? I have heard of google penalizing because of this, although im sure a .com and a .co.uk would be fine. Andy
  5. Ide like to recommend Heart Internet Reseller, yes its £30 a month, but i was a sucessfull reseller for a few years using Heart and there fantastic, both features and support. ITs very possible, but there is still lots of work involved, especially the customers that sign up without a clue what there doing, then blame you! Very fustrating! Cheers Andy
  6. Hi, Little bit of confusion going on here , www.peaksoftnet.co.uk is also a new domain, only 3 weeks old and is the name of my business i am going to trade under so 301 redirecting is not what im after. The nature of my business is Web Design within derbyshire. So my main keyword phrase being 'web design derbyshire' which i have target my website "www.peaksoftnet.co.uk at. But, i have recently purchased www.derbyshirewebdesign.co.uk as it is obviously my keyword in a domain name, which im sure you all know helps in SEO...and my original question is, what shall i use it for? Its not going to be my business as thats peak soft net. It could be a landing page, or a website full of articles about web design in derbyshire that link to peaksoftnet, i am basically open to good ideas. Thanks Andy
  7. Also remember the image filenames have a good part to play in SEO. Instead of image1.jpg or image2.jpg, give the picture a decent filename, with relevent keywords sperated with a "-". Thanks Andy
  8. Thanks, i also thought the idea about 2 business, but didnt know if "legally" you can do that? I suppose theres no reason for it, in theory you can have as many business as you want. A landing page sounds promising. Might be the first port of call to see how it helps out. A decent page with good relevent content should be picked up quite well dont you think? Thanks Andy
  9. Hi all. I currently design and manage a company website full time and since thats now got to a point where its nicly ranked in search engines and successfully marketing the business i have decided to try and venture my own business providing web designe services locally in my area. I live in derbyshire, midlands and my aim is to help businesses within derbyshire get online. Now i started this only a few weeks ago, and got a site online www.peaksoftnet.co.uk and its slowly starting to appear in Google and is starting to show good signs for my keywords, but obviously the main key word to be used would be "derbyshire web design". Now as im still waiting to be indexed and backlinks to build up, i checked and realised the domain name "www.derbyshirewebdesign.co.uk" is available, so ive purchased it, but stuck for ideas on what to do with it? Ive already started www.peaksoftnet.co.uk so cant really change it? So just woundered what you guys recommend using that domain for? I though a blog or somthing along them lines. I just dont know. Open to advise! Thanks Andy
