Hello, Could someone explain me how to change page extension in Joomla 1.5 I've created drop-down menu for my site ivantabel.com in Joomla 1.5 but some of my pages have extension .html and some is /blog. Example: http://www.ivantabel.com/chasi-napolnie.html Example: http://www.ivantabel.com/mishura/blog I've tried to change menu, categories, articles and everything but cannot. Please help. NAVI.

For the image file h3-bg.gif you are also right. I just forgot to mention that I use FileZilla and code works online on my hosting service company. Of couse, on my computer I have just folder ivantabel, and online storage of folder Ivantabel is public_html. /public_html/ivantabel/templates/ja_nagya/images/h3-bg.gif After I add your code everything works fine. Hello everyone, I have some problems with my website (ivantabel.com). I used Joomla 1.5 for this website. The strange things happened now. I cannot open my website on my computer. The site starts to load files to temporary folder and suddenly stuck downloading file /public_html/ivantabel/templates/ja_nagya/images/h3-bg.gif and some others. If I use my wife's computer I can open website without any problems. Some of my friend said that they cannot open to. It mean that some people can open my website but someone cannot. I've installed FireFox on my computer and now I can open my site but in IE8 cannot. Some people said that this is IE8 compatibility problems. The problems with "Home" and "Contacts" buttons has been solved. Only one question left. Yeh, I forgot about links problems. Many thanks to everyone. It works now. But another problem appear. The buttons which have drop-down buttons is changing color but others is not. You can see "Home" and "Contacts" buttons. I know it something wrong with SryMenuBar but where I have no idea. I've tried to change everything in my SpryMenyBar but no result. Dear Experts, I've designed a home page of my website. The page contains SpryMenuBar. When I check the index.html stored on my computer the SpryMenuBar works fine but after I put it in my website it doesn't work at all. I have no idea what is the problem. Please help. Oh yeh, I've got it. It must be just one image with green colour from the left and brown colour from the right. The width of the image must be same as width of page. In my case is 775px.

Hello people, I have some problems with right and left blocks on my page. When I put less text in the left block the right block become taller than left one and conversely, when I put more text in the left block right one become smaller than the left one. I wanna float them together so they will have same height. Please see attached picture so you will understand everything. Hope someone can help me. Thanks.

Seems like I found another solution. I can use Server-side includes (SSIs). Only one problem is that SSIs have to be supported by Internet service provider (ISP) because pages containing SSIs are composed on the remote web server. I think here is a very good explanation for templates, library items, and SSIs. From Adobe website

You are right, NeRo. I do ASAP (As Simple As Possible) for myself. I'm quite sure professionals won't use this method but I'm just a beginner.

Many thanks for reply. I found that by using Library option in Dreamweaver CS4 I can solve this problem. I just saved my menubar as a library file and add it to my pages. By modifying just only this file I can automatically update menubar on all pages in my website. I don't see any disadvantage to use Library. If someone had a problems with this feature please let me know.

Hi everyone, please give some suggestion how to automatically update a menubar on every page. I have a drop down menu on my website bestelectronics/com/hk. If I wanna add new button and a new page to a Products category. After adding I have to modify every page of my website. It takes a lot of time and I am afraid that I can miss some links or some links won't work on some pages. I think I should use a web templates but don't now how to add a menubar to the Editable Region. Probably someone has another ideas. Please check Thermometer IC page as an example. Many thanks.

Hi all, Does anyone know how to allow browser automatically shrink the image? Please see my site - www.acsemi.com As you can see when you press Restore Down at the upper right corner of the window the body and sidebar are shrinking but picture don't. How to shrink the picture? I also have another question. How to fit heading into body size in design mode of dreamweaver? As you can see in attachment my heading picture is coming out of page body and page look ugly in design mode but actually look normal online - www.acsemi.com. Is it possible to do something with it? I would say, the picture must be resizable.
