I need to setup user login for this site. And eventually a blog, forum etc. Data base needed and the easiest tutorial for dummies looked for.

W3Schools covers most languages and includes basic MYsql tips.

I'm wanting to do same and late last nite well about 3am this morning i came across this

very helpful and step by step makes the PHP & MySQL look quite easy and in all honesty it aint has hard has it looks.

 

Now i can create the login area i need my client plus have the abilabty to create a CMS from scrtach
