July 29, 200818 yr Hey, In Javascript I am trying to copy whatever value the user enters into one form text field to copy into another text field, but I am not sure how to achieve this. I don't know javascript very well, but understand the general syntax. Thanks!
July 29, 200818 yr Author I have managed to do it this way: function upperCase(x) { var y=document.getElementById(x).value document.getElementById("lname").value=y.toLowerCase() var a=document.getElementById(x).value document.getElementById("fname").value=a.toLowerCase() } I don't really want to use toLowerCase() I just want it to write the value, but this is the best was I could find. Is there a better way to do this?
