This is a basic website I put together for a mates band, been using it to learn some css as I've not done any websites in a far few years now lol and well I'm RUSTY...

 

Any feedback will be grate

Its a nice simple layout and not bad for a first attempt website. The graphic looks a bit blurry but it could just be the picture. For the menu i would continue the red of the graphic (at the bottom) as a div and place the menu inside, change the menu font aswell im not so keen on it for the menu.

Not too bad for a first design. Just try and add a few more colors in there to help it flow a bit better!

The image is a bit dodgy (its the one they are currently using on the myspace page (the band that is), was done by one of there girlfriends and they seem to like it, I am planning on touching it up a little.

At the moment I'm using it as is till I'm happy with the overall design.

 

I understand what Garry was saying about trying to add a little more colour to the site to brake it up,

It is a bit doggy on the eyes after a while (I could have swore the image was moving last night, that is when I decided it was time to go to bed).

 

I'll have another play, need to get used to the tools on adobe a bit more...

Managed to get it to work in both firefox and IE by using two different style sheets and a bit of tinkering..

Improved the quality of the logo image.

Added an index button.

 

Have another design Idea thats possibly going to be better, but I'll have to get onto that one, but not too bad for a first attempt
