July 16, 200818 yr Hello. I have (for the first time) setup a web page with a video that runs when the page is loaded. It works fine in IE6 and IE7. However, it doesn't show up in Firefox V2. I've pasted the code I used below. Is there some code I have missed to get it to run on Firefox? Are there other browsers that need a code fix? All help or suggestions greatly appreciated. <object width="166" height="257"> <param name="movie" value="video/videohighres.wmv"></param> <param name="wmode" value="transparent"></param> <embed src="video/videohighres.wmv" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" wmode="transparent" width="166" height="257"></embed></object>
July 16, 200818 yr Have you got a link to your page? - that way other WDF members can confirm if there is a problem or not. Does your Firefox installation have the latest/correct plugins installed?
July 17, 200818 yr Author Here's the website: www.showertan-uk.co.uk There is a video on the homepage as well as 2 videos on the 'more info' link. Would just like to add that I didn't design this site!!! The site was built in USA by the franchise holder and I was asked to make it relevant to the UK... I have the latest update for Firefox and another person using firefox had the same problem viewing the video. Many thanks
