Advice needed for a complete novice

Been working with a freelancer to produce a website with a members area and WordPress CMS. The relationship has broken down a bit and at this point I just want to finish up a few final bits and get it passed over to us.

The site's currently residing on a development subdomain, and he's quoting 5-6 hours to get it moved over to the main domain. I'm an amateur when it comes to this and I don't really know how long these things should take, but that seems really high to me.

The site has a fair bit of media, member database, WordPress, GIT (tied to GitHub). Can't really think of what else might affect it. If there are any factors you think could be contributing to the estimation, would love to hear them.

Any opinions are appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Mmm 5 to 6 hours? Depending how big the site is I could literally move sites in 30 mins but again that really depends how big the site is idk how big your database etc.. is but 5 to 6 hours seems quite a long time

Not particularly big, but hard to compare it to something. It has a members area, so databases will hold user data, which also includes some interactions with posts on the site, but they aren't populated yet as we haven't actually launched it, just a few test accounts. The site has a fair bit of content but just text and images, videos are hosted separately. Payment system is third party as well. Can't think what else might call for such a long migration....
