What have you named your own website?

Featured Replies

Hi everyone

I'm just wondering wether you use a website to advertise your work and if so what have you named it? Do you use your own name or have you created a company name? Do you find there are any pros/cons of using your own name? I am still in early learning stages, but would like to create my own website so that I can play around as I learn.

Thank you

Website name should be unique and specific because it represents your online that's why it's important to choose the right one for your online business.

I use my own name. It is http://tdutkowski.com this kind of brand works greate. Many clients choose me because im a person not agency.

Clients get more personal feel comming to my site.

If you want to be big or you want to sell products you can make up some name. Depends on a buisness model.

Well in my situation, as a freelance webdesigner, I've used my own name. It's more simple for the clients to understand that you are a stand-alone person and that you work on your own. You should always be honest. When you're alone, it's just you, when you're a group or a firm, name it!
