A career change is needed​ so I've been doing a fair amount of research into web design which interests me and the most appropriate course for a beginner. The only trouble I'm having is trying sort out which are good and which are not so good! Any advice or recommendations would be much appreciated

I started using free courses such as those listed on Codecademy and Khan Academy. I've recently just discovered Free Code Camp, although it does seem to have a steep learning curve for beginners.

 

Perhaps do all the courses at once?! That way you are backing up your learning - it is very easy to forget.
