Site Revamp Review

Featured Replies

Hi all,

I've just about finished a site revamp for a friend and am hoping to get some feedback. All the pages listed on the header menu are W3C and CSS validated. The couple of second level pages aren't yet. Would love to hear all general comments and any advice people have on the rollover images in the header that are slow to load.

Thanks in advance

Those image rollovers really do take a long time to load. My advice would be to ditch them and use CSS to show the hover state, maybe a background colour change or an underline.

Other than that, the site is looking nice, but I think it could be better. I think it's a bit too cluttered and busy right now, and there's not enough negative space. Try opening it up a little.

I also wonder if you can find a more interesting favicon? I'm sure I've seen that one so many times now.

On the whole, good work.
