I dont know about how to make new website. I have little knowledge of dreamveiwer to open, close and how to mannage a site.

 

I am interested to make new website of very small size and low number of page.

From what I remember, Dreamweaver had pretty good help files included.. have you had a look at those?

Dreamweaver can be pretty intimidating at first glance. You might want to start with something more straightforward like frontpage or even better write code straight into notepad as this will help to give you an idea of what is actual going on.

 

There's loads of tutorials out there- http://htmldog.com/guides/htmlbeginner/ - for one.

Try looking on www.w3schools.com - there's some good beginner information on there

you could also buy HTML for bummies that started me off

Yes I remembered when I just started out from nothing.

I use w3schools, and frontpage and now I can help myself.

 

If you don't know a thing about programming its best to start out with microsoft frontpage. It uses a graphical user interface, and while you insert text and graphics it produces the codes for you.

First you have to know little bit HTML you have to nice knowing with tag attributes and basic table layout.

There is no easy way of creating a web site. For a beginner I would suggest learn dream weaver or front page. But unfortunately you have to do courses for learning these applications. There is no free tutorial on the web for learning these applications. Go to some local training provider that provides cheap courses.

 

 

But there are endless number of tutorials on the web for HTML,CSS, JAVA SCRIPT programming ( As mentioned by others , www.w3schools.com is very good for beginners). Knowing programming gives you the flexibility to fine tune web designs at ease. it gives you the edge, where as Dream weaver and front page is very good for creating draft designs in the beginning.

And if you don't have time for learning, you can use dreamweaver template while making your first web site

Initially to learn good website design, you need to learn html.....

 

There are many websites available, which will give you brief tutorial of how you can learn web design

once you go through tutorials, you will be able to start doing programming. Take readymade template, strat doing amendments on that template then create a new temp[late by yourself and that way you will learn programming.
