I'd like to possibly use a several minute long video as the background of my site, probably of nature, maybe of nature in Asia. The stock photo sites I know of usually only have videos that are only a few seconds long. Do you have any suggestions?

Videohive have nice videos, some of them seamless http://videohive.net/ I use one of their videos on my site, as a background.

I'd be worried about the file size of a long video slowing a site down. Usually a looped video will be fine. Do you think a long one will actually make a difference to your clients?
