Music help

Featured Replies

Two things I need help with here.

The first is, does anyone know a decent free site where I can upload music to, and that supply links so it can be played from my website. I've tried for hours, but the best I could find is sites that have link backs to a page on their site, but I don't want that.

The second is, I have visited several sites where when they load up the play music, what code do I need for that. I don't want a big music player on screen or to pop up. I would prefer that the music just plays but if i not possible, then the smallest possible player pls.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thx all

I believe the best way to do this would be to use flash.

It would be more under your control and using flash to play audio is the recommended way to play music on the web.

If you reply with more specific requirements I will try and advise you on how to achieve this.

try boomp3, I think you can insert a flash file on your site, but it can be generated on boomp3. Take a look

I don't know how to explain it better.

The best example would be youtube, all the videos have HTML code that you can use to embed them onto your site, ppl watch them from your site rather than going to youtube. I want the same thing but with my music, I want a site that I can upload my music to, and using a link embed the music on my site so it plays when ever the page is loaded.

Unlike videos I don't want a huge music player on the site, because it will ruin the look (in my opinion), I just want music playing on the main when it loads up.

Thats the best wey I can think to explain it.

And thx notbanksy I'll give boomp3 a try.

The question has to be asked, WHY do you want to have music on your site? Do you have permission to broadcast the music?
