help me here, while i'm trying to help others.

hi everyone, i'm vincent here, recently i'm trying to help revamping one site of my country organization(non-profit organization maybe) for free. its to stop suicide and bullying. the site not well promoted though it circular around social media its not going to be enough. the official site was terribly done by fresh graduate thats what i see. and i think i can create something much better than the site which lack of features. i play with css and html and i'm fimiliar with wordpress. any reference from you guys? any url which was a good site related to the topic?
