JonDesign's Smooth Gallery White pixels on black areas on photo in IE7

Ahhh the joys of IE. Has anyone used the otherwise excellent and popular JonDesign Smooth Gallery Slideshow? I am having a problem that in IE7 white pixels show up on black areas in my photos.

 

Any ideas?
