Wordpress to Dreamweaver

Featured Replies

Hi all,

I recently had a wordpress website but chnaged the whole look and feel using a dreamweaver based one.

During the upload phase of the new dreamweaver site I recieved about 6 errors, not sure why?? so that website didn't upload but know when I try to log-in to my wp-admin I get a Forbidden 403 error.

The nameservers are changed on the domain name and wp is installed so i'm completely lost now??

How do I get the wordpress site back??

Please help

Sounds like you've removed Wordpress and have hand built your website using Dreamweaver.

You won't have any of the functionality of Wordpress (and wp-admin) if that's the case.

There could be a host of issues, but one possibility is that the site name and URL in the database are wrong. Those might need to be updated.

Another is that you jacked up your Wordpress files. You should always have a local copy on your computer running on a local server to make sure everything is working correctly before you upload to the live environment.
