I just want some advice, how to use Flickr for social media marketing, as you can only add pictures.

i like the new recent re-design. but no one here at work or even the actual Social Media lady we have here uses it, although she does use Google+ for media and it seems to work quite well... maybe look at that?

You are right it is just image sharing platform. But You can share your web design portfolio. share logo design, template and get good traffic.

Sharing pics could also be a good way of driving traffic. I like spending time on picture sharing sites and think it's worth a deal. On Flickr you can get more exposure and traffic using its groups.

Make good images related to your site and share on the flicker , Images can drive more traffic and can engage the vistior rather than a content.

Agree with all member views that Flickr is picture sharing site. But still you can share your website logo, web designing portfolio and templates to drive more traffic to your website.
