July 6, 201313 yr I'm interested in becoming a web designer in the future and wanted someinput from those of you already in work (I'm particularly interested insole trader types who are self employed). My questions are: 1) How long have you been doing web design? 2) How long did it take you for you to start landing jobs? 3) Any advice on the best ways to network? 4) Which is better: self employed or in-house? Look forward to your feedback.

After school leaves, got the job after two years. (2010) 3) Any advice on the best ways to network? Practice will be help you a lot. 4) Which is better: self employed or in-house? Self Employed
July 6, 201313 yr I've was an amateur web designer from 2004 up to 2012 when I got serious about it. Haven't received jobs (or a job) yet, still looking. For personal gain self-employment is always better, but for security and peace of mind I'd say a permanent job is better.
