hi i'm new to this forum so hope this is in the right place. i have been trying to figure out how to have 5 image thumbnails that act as buttons that once clicked display different text in a box next to them. what i'm trying to accomplish is a "about us" page for a friends band so the images will be picture of each of the band members and once you click on them you get a short bio about them appear in a box next to them. any help would be much appreciated. please note i'm new to web design and i'm self taught.so the simpler the better.

Hi and welcome to the forum :)

Very easy solution is using jQuery UI tabs - here is a demo and the source - http://jqueryui.com/tabs/

You need to load jQuery first, then jQuery UI, then you can use CSS to style the tabs so they look the way you want them.

Hope that helps :) You can always post here if you get stuck.
