Hi,

 

I have installed a category drop down widget onto Wordpress but I need to exclude two categories. I am not sure what the best method of doing this is... is it possible to exclude these categories across the whole site within my theme files??

 

I have tried editing the plugin files but have been unable to get it to work. The plugin file is as follows:-

I have tried entering the category ID's into the exclude section at the beginning but this is not working so I am sure if I am doing it incorrectly. Can anyone help/advise me please

 

 

You can probably exclude a category by adding an 'exclude' parameter to the array:

(Sorry, I can't get it to line up better) This would exclude a category with the id of 4. If you want to exclude several you will need to put them in an array.
