April 13, 201313 yr Hi,I am creating a mobile site for a client with multiple static HTML landing pages (about 300 in all) that are targeted to different towns in the London area. All the landing pages are identical apart from the page title, file name and one text instance of the town name in the content. Rather than having to create all these pages manually, I have been trying to find some software or script that will allow me to mass create the pages i.e. by using a template and swapping out certain fields for a list of data (in this case page title, file name and town name).Does anyone know of any software or script that can do this?
November 16, 201312 yr If you upload the page to cpanel, then highlight in filemanager, click 'copy' then give it a new name..done. But you'll have to repeat until finished! Alternatively, open the page in notepad, select 'save as' then name it (making sure you give it the right extension i.e .html and select 'all files') then keep saving as and renaming!
