This seems like a farely simple issue but its giving me a headache so hopefully one of you guys/girls can help.

 

I have used a twitter widget. from twitter on my clients website

but all it displays is "tweets by jay harris" no actual feed.

can anyone advise on why this might be?

You have not whitelisted this domain for your Twitter widget. Go to https://twitter.com/settings/widgets/285105285545205760/edit and add 'www.build.teqqnet.com' to the 'Domains' list for this timeline.

so if i put it on its actual domain "jayharrisofficial.com" it would work?

i put it on the domain

but still nothing.

Think it's referring to this setting for your widget:

 

yeah it is, i have put the domain in there, but its still not loading any content

problem solved, just deleted the widget and started again... urgh.

in addition, do you know how to edit the width of the widget?

na twitter set the maximum width to 520px

I have to come back to this,

As my widget seems to have stopped working,

displaying only text "tweets by Jay Harris Real"

 

I have looked for a solution but i am really unsure of where to go with this, do you have any idea why this might be

Have you tried to put your domain name in twice

 

www.jayharrisofficial.com, .jayharrisofficial.com

 

or putting an asterisk in front

 

*.jayharrisofficial.com

 

I've read a few people needed to do that to get it working

Twitter really need to make this clear
