Hi everyone, my name's Marc and I've recently set up a new business called Compare My Move.

 

It is primarily a house removals compare website which gives the moving public up to 6 free removal quotes from our growing network of removal companies.

 

If you could spare 2 minutes to have a look at the site I would be hugely grateful.

An important area for feedback for me is as a customer landing on my site would you be happy to fill out the quote form.

nice design

I really like the design

Love the design but whats bugging me is the font size.. Personally i would make the main content font size about 13px and maybe us a dark grey for the colour i'd give #555555 ago other than that good job!

It's a very nice design, but I'm going to nitpick because praise won't help you.

 

The green text on the white background is a little bit hard on my eyes. I would consider making it marginally darker.

 

Also, the menu up top with the rounded corners looks a little bit awkward without a few pixels of white space between them.

Agreed with the above, body copy to be around 14-15px as the weight will be much better for the page.

 

Also make the menu more tactile, currently it doesn't do anything on hover etc.

 

The "Free Removal Quote" body of text just doesn't work, it needs padding and aligning, the green is easily lost against the white and submit button is vague.

"Compare My Move has a network of over 200 removal companies giving out free removal quotes every day. It’s easy to get your 6 free quotes - Simply fill in the form and let us do the rest."

 

The above could be moved bottom right and opposite the man on the box so the call to action isn't muddled with a wall of text i.e. "So you’re moving house? You’re in the right place!" enter your post code and submit, no waffle. Read the waffle below if you wish, but otherwise it's not in the way to slow your visitor down.
