September 9, 201214 yr I have created a very basic theme in WordPress for a future blog. Before I start to develop the theme any further I want to make it fully responsive. At the moment the theme is responsive. However, its not 'fully' responsive and only changes layout at the exact break points set in the media queries. My test blog: http://www.blog.craigbibby.com/ How I want my blog to behave: http://viljamis.com/blog/ I'm brand new to WordPress and RWD and don't really know where to take it from here. As always, grateful of any suggestions. Thanks. Edited September 9, 201214 yr by Craig Bibby
September 9, 201214 yr It doesn't have to resize as you move the browser to be responsive. As long as the layouts work with any widths then it doesn't matter how they function, nobody (apart from us designers) is sat there resizing their browser watching the text shrink and expand. It's done with min/max-widths and percentages though.
September 9, 201214 yr Author Thats true, as long as it displays correctly on the device used I suppose any other function doesn’t really matter. It was just pointed out to me that the site could be more more fluid and I was frustrated that I couldn’t work out how to achieve that. I didn’t realise there was so many different methods of making a site responsive so I will just have to start playing around with different methods. Generally speaking though, is there a preference amongst designers and developers?
