With regards the site: too much grey and too little content. The 'status' and 'date' looks lost in a sea of drearyness.

Layout is also a little repetitive and uninspired.

 

The site needs something to give it a little life, it's very dead at the moment.

Your sites have too much of unorganized colors because of which the meagre content is not highlighted. I suggest you make the site more colourful in terms of contrast with font.

Looks like a set of advertising banners to me ..?

 

He also asked for suggestions to go with comments. I've gotta say this irritates me somewhat. Why say anything unless it's actually constructive, Glowbridge did a brilliant example of quality commenting last week in the Graphic Design area, you should take a journey.

 

I would probably add more text to the grey bit, perhaps some more information about the job, the brief, the tools used etc as just having status and date leaves it looking a bit bare.

 

Maybe have a quick contact form in the footer although I think you should have a bit more information about yourself/what you do on the home page so people know what the page is about and that it is in fact a portfolio.
