Does anyone have a solution, we are creating a site to sell limited edition items, 100 every day, we need a stock counter to appear on the home page which will count down as the items are sold. We have actinic developer or we don't mind using any cart that is available. Any ideas much appreciated!

Down from 100 everyday?

 

I'm not a expert on MySQL but it seems to me you can just do an easy query

 

$number = query()

 

SELECT SUM

FROM <where ever you sales transactions are stored>

WHERE day == today && item == <your item>

 

$total_left = 100 - $number

 

echo ("Total limited editions left: "+ $total_left");

 

Something like this should work now remember my SQL query is total crap but you get the gist

just google some for the correct code to do a query.
