July 23, 201214 yr Ok so i have been fiddling with his free template and have some trouble with a couple of things. First if you view the homepage http://www.phpbbforumhost.co.uk/index.hs all looks fine but if i remove the (our services) content on the left the right (test news) content jumps to the left i want it to stay on the right. Also if you view the registration page in anything other than fire fox it shows the terms box fine but in firefox the box is on the right. Any help with this would be a real help thanks in advance. I have attached my css file Also this is the code in my header and footer.tpl Please not that i am using the multiforum scrip phpbbhs.com and integrating the site design in with their tpl files HEADER <!DOCTYPE html PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD XHTML 1.0 Transitional//EN" "http://www.w3.org/TR/xhtml1/DTD/xhtml1-transitional.dtd"> <html xmlns="http://www.w3.org/1999/xhtml"> <head> <meta http-equiv="Content-Type" content="text/html; charset=windows-1252" /> <title>phpBB Forum Host</title> <link rel="stylesheet" type="text/css" href="/hs/templates/mytemplate/style.css" /> <!--[if IE 6]> <link rel="stylesheet" type="text/css" href="/hs/templates/mytemplate/iecss.css" /> <![endif]--> </head> <body> <div id="main_container"> <div class="top_illustration"><img src="/hs/templates/mytemplate/mtimages/been.png" alt="" title="" width="156" height="143"/></div> <div id="header"> <div class="logo"> <a href="index.html"><img src="/hs/templates/mytemplate/mtimages/logo.gif" alt="" title="" border="0" /></a> </div> </div> <div id="menu_tab"> <ul class="menu"> <li><a href="index.hs" class="nav_selected"> home </a></li> <li class="divider"></li> <li><a href="register.hs" class="nav"> Register</a></li> <li class="divider"></li> <li><a href="directory.hs" class="nav"> Directory</a></li> <li class="divider"></li> <li><a href="#" class="nav"> clients</a></li> <li class="divider"></li> <li><a href="contact.html" class="nav"> contact </a></li> </ul> </div> <div id="main_content"> <div id="middle_banner"> <div class="middle_banner_content"> <img src="/hs/templates/mytemplate/mtimages/banner_content.png" alt="" title="" width="417" height="142" /> </div> </div> <div id="left_content"> <h1>Our Services</h1> <p class="clear"> <img src="/hs/templates/mytemplate/mtimages/icon1.png" alt="" title="" class="left_img" width="48" height="48" /> Lorem ipsum dolor sit amet, consectetur adipisicing elit, sed do eiusmod tempor incididunt ut labore et dolore magna aliqua. July 24, 201214 yr Author Could really do with some help with this if anyone could help or point me in the right direction it would be very much appreciated.
July 25, 201214 yr First, edit your stylesheet id from #content-right to #content_right to match the markup and it will stay on the right. Secondly, add form { clear: both; } to the bottom of the stylesheet and the text beginning "First, we'd like to thank you..." will stay where it should. I do'nt know why you are using a form as there's no action and no submit, but adding the code above works to stop the box going over to the right. Edited July 25, 201214 yr by Wickham
