my company has a website and its pictures are taking time to load.even small pictures are taking time to load and i need to know the reason behind it. should we use our own webserver? or we need picture resizing software on our web server?can anyone please give me the reason behind it.any articles should i read to get more info?

You either have a **** connection or a **** host. Could be a bug, but the first two are usually the case. Post a link to get better answers.

 

Get ySlow to increase page speed, for a start.
