My portfolio website is www.ohlookawebsite.com I'd love for you to have a look and give me a bit of critisicm, always looking to improve :)

Hi Ben.

I really like the direction you are going with the website, but you need to do a lot of work when it comes to grammar, especially your punctuation. My suggestion is for you to ask someone you know to check your site for grammar issues. A badly written site may scare away potential customers.

My other suggestion is for the links to the actual websites from your portfolios to open on a separate window. You don't want people to leave your site, get engaged in another site (even if it is from your portfolio), and simply forget to come back.

I also thought it was odd that you does not list the URL for the websites from your portfolio. If the sites are live, you should let people go check them out.

I hope this is helpful. Great work on the design...I really like it! Congrats.

Thanks for the comments Andy

Grammar and spelling has always been a downfall for me so I completely understand where you're coming from.

I'll change the new window situation now!

Most of the websites I've worked on in the past have now sadly been shut down, should I specify that the website is offline / been deleted?

Thanks for the advice and kind words!

I also like what you've done with your portfolio. I like the way you've personalised it with echoing the name that you have to type in, on the first page.

I would also say put a link to your live work, however if it isn't live any more I personally wouldn't say it's been deleted as this could put negative thought into a potential customers mind as to why it isn't live any more. So for now while that's the situation I would make all your portfolio have more images. You've gone for the iMac look so maybe do something similar to another designer from here. http://www.rjgdesigning.co.uk/portfolio.html He's done it with the whole project but you could use the arrows just to use more images in each project.

looks good and I like the "name" thing. One thing I really don't like is that I can't see any navigation at all, even the scroll bars on the browser window. I had to use my keyboards arrows to move around the site.

The navagation is supposed to be from the next and back buttons and the last page, the scroll bar has been disabled to make sure you see every part of the website

On my laptop, i couldn't see the next and back buttons, its only when I scrolled with my keyboard that I saw them. Also why did you disable the scroll bar? why not just make the site 10px or so narrower?
