MP3 player

Featured Replies

Hi, I'm looking for a mp3 player. I'm not interested in iThings (out of my budget anyway), i don't need video playback, or even album art. All I want is a player (6gb up), good battery life and decent sound. I have a budget of £60. Any recomendations?

will you phone not do this? I just got rid of my ipod touch after learning my HTC is just as good

It can, but it murders the battery life.

Sony Walkman. Not sure of exact model, but have a look around.

I still have one I bought 6 years ago. Its beautiful, small, the case is metal. It looks brilliant and still looks new, whereas old iPods/Shuffle's look incredibly dated.

The sound of even a cheap Walkman will also crap all over any iThing - especially as they always come with brilliant headphones. My walkman cost me £100 and came with a pair of cans that retailed separately for £75.

So yeah, a Walkman. Cannot really go wrong with them and you always know you're getting something solid with Sony. Six years on and my Walkman is absolutely fine.

How did I forget Walkman? My last mp3 player was sony walkman A series something or other - very good value I just tend to use my phone now one less thing to carry.

Maybe buy a spare battery for your phone? People I know with smartphones have a spare

My last MP3 player was a walkman, an NWA-1000 I think and it was great, but the battery has died so I thought i'd take this chance to get someting newer. I've found this one which I think I'll get. I really don't want to use my phone as a mp3 player, I've been using it in the interim till i get my new MP3 player, and its ok, but the sound isnt that great.
