the contact banner should stretch across the page it does on other pages but not on this,

can anyone tell me why

If you mean the narrow skyblue line under the menu, it does stretch across my window at 1366px resolution as #header has no width and has the border-bottom.

 

However, I notice that the Contact tab drops down below the other three, you need to increase the width of .menu to 470px;

.menu {width:470px;/*450px;*/ float:right; margin-top:30px;}

That works with my default text size, but if text size is increased (only text, not zoom everything) the contact tab will drop again because you haven't fixed the width of the li style; but I would probably leave it as it is as I think most people would use zoom which enlarges the div as well as the text size.

You are missing a closing </div> for the <div class="ContentArea"> after <!--#Header -->, hence the footer is inside this div which has a width of 960px, rather than 100% of the screen width.

 

Add </div> on line 111, before </div><!--.ContentArea --> that should solve the issue
