Hi All

 

I am involved in a UK website selling dancewear and I’m trying to get links to other dance related websites. We get inquiries from all over the world and would like to use this contact to get links with dance related sites from different English speaking countries. e.g. Hello we get enquiries from the USA, would you like to exchange links with us? sort of thing. So, will these links improve or harm my google ranking?

The fact that they're non-UK links won't hurt you or help you. Google doesn't discriminate that way. B)

 

You should investigate each site first and determine if their link is valuable to your business (their PageRank, do they use "no follow" tags, etc).

It does to an extent, local sites linking to you are considered far more relevant than international sites
