Bonjour mon petit pois!

Im 23Rainbow and am a photographer from london. I only studied it at college but am looking to start a uni course next feb. I've just been going around the capital and looking for some edgy shots to try and make a portfolio up.

I'm looking to teach myself how to create my own website so i dont have to pay someone else to do it. Any idea how to get started?

Any advice would be cool :)

Cheers! :drinks:

*rubs eyes* Ouch! :p

Hi 23Rainbow, and welcome to the forum.

Your best bet for getting started with website design is to teach yourself HTML and CSS. You could do this via online tutorials or through a selection of books on the topic.

Once you have the basics down, you'll be able to knock up a website in no time. Remember that we are always happy to help you out on the forum.

Good luck!

Hi 23Rainbow :hi:

Glad to see you joining us in a colourful mood! Rob's advice is sound - I advise you to follow it! :)

Welcome to the forum and yay for lots of pretty colours! :D

Ignore Rob, yay for the colours!

Ooooh pretty...

Welcome 23Rainbow. Hopefully you'll share some of your photos with us! I personally enjoy looking at photos people have taken.

Cari. ^_^

There'd better be a pot of gold at the end of that sentence.

Welcome :)

Hi 23rainbow,

I'm only a newbie here - but you'll get the warmest of all welcomes off me because, if your site's going to be a photography gallery doo-da then there won't be too many words! (I do copy-editing)

:D
