October 5, 201115 yr I have been given a PSD designed around 1920 pixel i.e the canvas is 1920 pixel wide by 1110 pixel height. My question is, when slicing: 1)Do I slice it the way it is? or 2)change the image size to a lesser width which will basically change the canvas size hence my target screen resolution Thanks
October 5, 201115 yr 1)Do I slice it the way it is? or 2)change the image size to a lesser width which will basically change the canvas size hence my target screen resolution Thanks I would send back to the designer requesting (s)he supplies design which should be around 980px for content area with background image padding out sides as on this forum. If you're being provided with the design then I'm guessing it isn't your brief to make decisions about image sizes and text size.

From what you have said I would imagine the website is just 100% width, 1920px is large so I'm guessing this includes the background as well? If you can, attach a copy and I'll take a look.
