Problem with loading a video over an image

Featured Replies

Hi. I'm trying to figure out if its possible to have a video appear on the page when a thumbnail is clicked, without loading a new page or anything. On the website I'm making, theres a big image in the middle of the page, and i thought it would be nice if the image could be replaced by a video player when a user clicks on one of the thumbnails. If anyone knows a way of doing this that would be great :)

You could do it with PHP. On this tutorial

The links load separate files in the News Box. It's based on several PHP "include" files loading in the same place. The main page doesn't change. You can put anything in the separate files, even an object and embed tags with a video. An image could be the default that's there to start with, then a video loads when a link is clicked. The text links in the tutorial could be image links from a thumbnail.
