Mono-space / Fixed-width @font-face font for blog?

Featured Replies

All,

I'm working on a project at work and need to add a code view block for posting code examples on our blog. I'm designing it from scratch (we have a no-plugin policy) and was curious what you guys use/enjoy for good monospaced/fixed-width fonts on the web? It must have a license for @font-face, free would be great but we have a budget so if something is truly stellar let's see it.

Looking for examples, type-specimens and/or links.

Thanks guys!

Yeah, I grabbed Droid Sans Mono for the sake of comping this up, but I'm curious what other people have used in the past. Fixed-width fonts typically look like crap (because they fixed-width), but especially via @font-face at small (14pt) sizes...

I suspect someone has used Deja Vu.....I think I have or maybe just have the feeling I have ;)

The other place to look is dafont and see what they have that can be generated.
