August 3, 201115 yr As the title suggest I'm looking for some back up software and thought someone here might have some ideas? Cheers, Jason.
August 3, 201115 yr B-Cup is a nice little package that was originally built for Win XP, should be ok on Win7 It's free, performs backup of selected folders at startup or shutdown or at timed intervals. Other options include mirror or sequential timestamped copies, if I recall it will also save across network to external drives.
August 3, 201115 yr why dont you use windows backup? Worked for me, takes about a day to back up all my porn work, but it works for me
August 3, 201115 yr Norton Ghost if you are looking to backup the whole system. Drop Box if you are backing up work, documents and installers etc.
August 4, 201115 yr I use SyncToy to schedule some backups to my pair of external drives. Then I also use Mozy to back things up online. Mozy isn't free, but if you do any client work you absolutely need to back things up offsite.
